In an Acer launch event, the company has announced the high-powered gaming PCs. The company has unveiled the new predator Helios 500, which is a 17.3 inch brute of the laptop which comes with the overclockable Core i9 chip and this may be with or without speedy Optane memory.
This new predator Helios 500 is said to be bigger, powerful version than the Helios 300 model which is released last year. The Helios 500 has got the choice of either 4K or 1080p 144Hz display which comes with Nvidia G-Sync. The laptop is configured with an Intel Core i9+ 8950HK processor, or GTX 1070 GPU which have 8GB of memory and 64 GB of RAM for the top of the line model. The company has used the company’s “Dual AeroBlade 3D fans” like other gaming laptops of the Acer. The company has claimed that it has got the improved cooling and there is plenty of LED lighting built in.
The company has teased the new Predator X line for the future launch which comes with the products that will harness the Intel’s commercial-grade Xeon processors for gaming. The Acer’s predator Helios 500 laptops have the overclockable GeForce GTX 1070 graphics and either a 1080p 144Hz screen or have a 4K panel. You can also have 64 GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage or a 2TB spinning drive. The Helios 500 will be coming in June, and the price will be starting from $1,999.
The company also announced the limited edition of the Helios 300, which will be coming in a chic white and gold colour scheme which is faster as 144 Hz display. It is not as powerful as it is a bigger sibling with the maximum of the Core i7 chip and it has GTX 1060 video and 512 GB SSD option or 2TB disk.
The predator Orion 3000 and 5000 towers usually provide more affordable alternatives to the all-out Orion 9000. You can have them with Core i7, which is dual GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cards and 3TB of storage. If the user wants for casual gaming, then the user can go for Nitro 50 maxes out at a Core i7 and GTX 1070, and it includes perks like a Qi wireless charging pad. The Orion 5000 and Nitro 50 will be available in North America in July, and the starting price will be $1,499 and $799.
