It has been seen that Amazon has now been doubling down the Alexa powered devices which will be about eight new devices that are all set to get the release from the company. These eight new voice-controlled hardware devices will be coming to market before the end of this year, as said by CNBC.
The devices that are included in this new releases are the microwave oven, an amplifier, a subwoofer, receiver, in-car gadget too. All these devices will be getting powered by Alexa which means that they all can get easily connected to the voice assistant. Some of the devices that will also have got Alexa built in.
It has been expected that the company will be revealing the devices at an event which will be held later this month. This has been said by an internal document which given all the information about the event and their plans.
This type of new devices will be reflecting the Amazon’s ambition to make the Alexa voice technology as a ubiquitous. This can be done by focusing on the areas on which the people usually spend most of the time that includes the car as well as home. Initially, it was considered that Alexa would be a great experiment at Amazon. It is said that it is one of the most popular voice assistants which leads the growth of the smart speaker market. It is expected that it can be worth about $30 billion by the year 2024, as per Global Market Insights.
These type of products are said to be Amazon’s first move to the home appliances space. It will put it to direct the competition with the companies which are like Sonos as well as SE. Garmin also has an Alexa-compatible dash cam that can be used in the car.
