Jeff Bezos space tourism project which is with Blue Origin and is competing with the similar programme which is developed by Space X. The Space X rocket firm which was funded and run by Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Virgin Galactic which is backed by Richard Branson.
As per Bezos, he said, Settlement and colonisation of the moon have to be done if the human race is to survive. He added by saying that he must go back to the moon and when we go this time, you need to stay.
Jeff Bezos, who is the world’s richest man, has said in a space development conference in Los Angeles which is on Friday, and he is ready to help the pave the way for the further lunar exploration, and it is an eventual settlement with the rocket startup which is Blue Origin. Bezos said that the Earth would see the residential use and light industries and heavy industries will be conducting their operations extraterrestrially.
In National Space Society, which is a non-profit group which advocates the building of human colonies in space, he said this thing. He is now looking forward to getting in venture into space together which is with the cooperation of the US government and the European Union. Bezos said that he is going to go for it alone as per The Wall Street Journal. He said that the lunar settlement is not the matter of choice but it is the necessity and the alternative is stasis.
If the humans who are living on Earth didn’t expand into space, then a point will come to Earth when everything has to stop growing because of the environmental and other various factors.
Bezos added by saying, “The Earth is not a very good place to do heavy industry. It’s convenient for us right now. In the not-too-distant future – I’m talking decades, maybe 100 years, it’ll start to be easier to do a lot of the things that we currently do on Earth in space, because we’ll have so much energy.”
According to the Geek Wire, the Space X CEO Elon Musk thinks that the Mars is going to be the next planet which is targeted for the human colonisation. Moon is located very near the Earth, and it is said to be just the two-day trip with the help of a rocket.
