Leak says Apple new entry-level handset may be iPhone XC

According to a new leak, it said that the Apple’s iPhone X successor is now expected to be called as the iPhone XS. The next model which is currently referred to as the iPhone XS Max will take the slot of the iPhone 9 Plus slot. The leaks come just before the Cupertino company is all set to unveil the series of  2018 Apple iPhone later this week.

The presentation from the carrier China Mobile has been leaked onto a Chinese social media site Weibo which was picked up by the Japanese Mac blog Macotakara. It offers some interesting pieces of the information that includes the supposed name of the Apple’s new upcoming entry-level iPhone.

It was dubbed as the iPhone XC which will be the new handset that will supposedly carry an expected price of about $699. This is based on the Chinese pricing that featured in the presentation slides, as per 9to5 Mac.

The site also shows that the phone will be around $9000 or AU$1,266. This price is said to be the rough price for the 5.8 inch iPhone XS which will be the iPhone XS Plus. The price tag that this new iPhone XS Plus will be getting is around $1,000 mark.

As per the concept designer Ben Geskin, who has taken to the Twitter page, shows that the phone appears to be a set of the iPhone XC prototypes. This is seen in the color of red, blue and white as it said these three are the color variants for the new iPhones.

Geskin is famous for his renders as well as photoshops but the currently the designer claims that the phones have got featured in the leak are real. But till now these leaks are not confirmed, and this can be checked in the later week when the company will hold the event.
