A person who is lazy and has low standards of cleanliness calms down Skype has a new feature for you. As now, Skype video conferencing service is offering blurred background feature so you can hide your mess with honor.
As per the report gave by Skype, the new feature works like the background blur functionality in Microsoft Term, which was brought back in September. As Skype told that they have used AI (Artificial) intelligence to perform this activity such as to detect hair, hand, and arms to locate you and blur everything else, it is same as the portrait mode feature which is now found in every latest smartphone.
It is very easy to start or activate this new blur feature in Skype. You just have to press the Skype video button and select “blur my background.” It should delicately hide your surrounding while leaving you to focus but do not go crazy or throw your dirty laundry everywhere just yet. Just keep in mind that background blur feature is only available on desktops and laptops running on the latest version of Skype yet, but as we all know that background blur feature is in the experimental stage right now. In the end, Skype announced some fine print: “We do our best to make sure that your background is always blurred, but we cannot guarantee that your background will always be blurred.”
But it is still good, this is an important development for everyone as it will save your much time to wrap up all things or you can say save the time of tidying up their college mess room before jumping on Skype with your mother
And maybe this background blur feature would not help that professor who got disturbed by his children throughout a BBC interview, but now, it looks pretty handy. And if all else collapses, at least you can always wear your pants not appearing on a TV screen.
