On this Friday, Apple has declared that the mobile apps having an auto-renewable subscription will shortly, offer their subscription at a discounted price for a limited time period. The main reason behind this step taken by Apple is for rapid revenue growth and to retain their existing customers. With the help of these changes, mobile app developers can set their price of subscription according to their wish and this will definitely give them more control over their subscription.
Before this change occurs, mobile app developers can only allow, a discounted price or you can say a free trial to new subscribers of an auto-renewable subscription.
