On this present day, Google introduced two new Android apps, one is called Sound Amplifier and the second one is Live Transcribe. Both of them were introduced to help a person, who is deaf and hard of hearing increase more independence. One of the main features is known as Sound Amplifier, and as we have already known about it as it was announced at Google I/O last year. But conceivably the huge launch of two apps launched by Google.
With the help of a new app called Live Transcribe, the Android user who is not able to hear and hard of hearing can use their smartphone to transcribe spoken words in the actual time, as per the Google. With the help of Google’s speech recognition technology Live Transcribe, transcribe spoken words in the actual time and was developed with the help of Galladet University.
As per Google informed, Live Transcribe supports 70 different languages and a particular form of a language which is different to what is normal and can also adjust to pick up on certain differences as the conversation goes on – One example by Google includes an autocorrection caption that at first think the subject is New York City, but it will change when the AI understand clearly the topic is truly Yorkshire Terries. The Live Transcribe app supports external microphones to maintain accurate accuracy, and it also requires an internal connection to work, and of the best part told by Google is that users conversation are not saved or keep on its servers.
The second app by Google is standing just by the side is Sound Amplifier, which is compatible with wired headphones. The main motive is not to enhance the volume or you can say the sound, but the main motive is to enhance quiet sounds while reducing other noise from the surrounding. As it gives much more advantage to hard of hearing Android users, and this will give an awesome experience to all those who feel uncomfortable in the noisy environment too.
Google announced on Monday that it is launching a beta version of a latest Android feature called Live Transcribe, and with the help of it anyone can exactly create written inscription or you can say content within a second. This is an approach-centric project, which is designed to help people with hearing loss communication without buying specialized equipment or expensive equipment.
